Elizabeth Bell has more than 20 years of experience in legal representation and counsel, business management, government affairs and public policy advocacy, which she puts to work for a unique blend of clients including independent film, television and new media production and distribution companies, independent producers and financiers, writers and actors, new media and technology companies, entrepreneurs, small business owners, nightclubs, restaurants and gaming enterprises, Indian tribes and governmental agencies.
In service of our entertainment and business clients, Ms. Bell works with Eric Parmater, a producer and seasoned entrepreneur, business owner and consultant. Mr. Parmater is the founder and principal of ROT Films and has more than 25 years of experience in owning, operating, and growing a wide variety of businesses including restaurants and nightclubs, marketing, sales and customer loyalty programs, insurance providers, commercial and residential real-estate development, Internet companies and technology enterprises. With these experiences, Parmater brings an extensive and dynamic background in marketing, sales, management, research and development and creativity to work for our clients and enhances our ability to successfully serve their needs.
In service of our entertainment and tribal clients, Ms. Bell works with Daryl Begay, a producer, consultant and our Senior Policy Advisor, who has extensive business and legal affairs and production experience on film and television projects and as a legislative, regulatory, and policy advisor on issues affecting tribal governments and Native American communities – including such issues as education, economic development, Indian gaming, taxation, housing, military affairs, healthcare, natural resources, transportation, and veterans’ affairs – at the federal, state, municipal and tribal government levels. Mr. Begay grew up on the Navajo Nation in Crystal, New Mexico, earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from Dartmouth College and his Master of Education from Harvard University. Putting his education and professional experience to work for Indian Country, over the last 10 years Mr. Begay has worked with the Department of Diné Education, United States House of Representatives, law firm of Holland & Knight LLP, Window Rock Unified School District, and Navajo Nation Washington Office on various issues affecting Indian tribes and Native American communities throughout the country.
